As spring finally rolls around, we're all eager to bring some color into our homes. Recently, we collaborated with a local florist to achieve just that—creating stunning floral displays inside our Newlyn, Hepworth, and Flora planters to truly capture the essence of spring.

Avril is not only a gifted florist but also an experienced gardener with a keen eye for design. At her studio in Shropshire, we joined forces with Avril as she meticulously picked out key elements to complement the shape and finish of each planter. Avril began with our Marine 316 Stainless Steel Newlyn pots. To emphasize their symmetrical form and tapered base, these pots were filled with tall, slender Narcissus blooms surrounded by textured green fir. Shades of green and soft yellow were chosen to match the cool undertones of the Satin and Polished Marine 316 Stainless Steel.

When it came to styling our curved Hepworth planters, Avril opted for bigger, eye-catching pieces. Inside our 28cm Satin Stainless Steel Hepworth planter, she placed a deep green Camellia plant adorned with vibrant pink blossoms. This striking contrast worked beautifully with the matte finish of the Satin Stainless Steel.

In the smaller Hepworth pots, Avril used a mix of purple and white Hyacinths topped off with a layer of moss to keep the arrangements secure. This color palette harmonized perfectly with our Polished Stainless Steel Hepworth planters, which reflect their surroundings with a shimmering effect.

Our Flora planters share the same reflective properties in Smooth Brass, Copper, and Nickel finishes. For our Smooth Copper Flora planters, bold florals were used to highlight the warm undertones of the copper. This gave the arrangements a lively and cheerful vibe, instantly brightening up any room.

Avril crafted cascading bouquets that flowed over the scalloped edges of our Flora planters. Meanwhile, the slimmer profile of our Flora vases lent themselves to taller structures. Here, Avril experimented with long, curved branches intertwined with pearlescent seed pods. The iridescent qualities of these seed pods combined with the gleam of our Smooth Brass Flora vase made for an enchanting centerpiece, perfect for making a bold statement in any home.

Avril applied a similar approach when designing for our large Marine Stainless Steel Flora planters. She wove together giant dried seed pods with delicate purple flowers, creating an impressive showcase of floristry secured within our Satin Stainless Steel Flora planter.

We had such a great time working alongside Avril to style our Newlyn, Hepworth, and Flora planters, and the results are simply breathtaking!
