Maintenance is divided into two main parts: filter maintenance and annual servicing. The first part involves the maintenance of two filters—the air filter and the oil filter. Typically, this should be done every 2000 hours. However, the frequency may vary depending on the environment. In harsh environments such as cement plants, textile mills, or petrochemical facilities, it's recommended to perform this maintenance every 2000 hours due to higher contamination levels. In cleaner environments like food factories, machinery plants, or power stations, the interval can be extended to 2000–4000 hours.
The second part is the annual maintenance, which usually occurs after one year of operation or 8000 operating hours. At this point, the oil core and oil should be replaced, and various components such as the solenoid valve, vent valve, temperature control valve, and minimum pressure valve should be inspected and serviced.
Note: While the filter maintenance can typically be performed by the customer themselves (as it’s not overly complex), annual maintenance is generally recommended to be carried out by Sullair-approved service providers. This is because the oil separator cylinder needs to be disassembled, and the mat and return line inside the oil tank require specialized handling that most users are not familiar with.
If the customer chooses to perform the annual maintenance themselves, they must first close the air outlet valve and check the pressure reading on the panel (P1). When the displayed pressure reaches P1: 00 bar, the power should be turned off before proceeding with any maintenance work. Always ensure safety protocols are followed during the process.
