"Silicon Cream 5" protective cream

"Silky Cream No.5" is a skin protection cream developed by the Capital Hospital, specifically designed to offer effective protection against various irritating chemicals. The product is non-irritating, odorless, and leaves no oily residue on the skin. It does not cause any discomfort, nor does it interfere with sweat gland function, making it easy to wash off. These features have made it very popular among factory workers who are regularly exposed to harsh substances.

Following exposure to preservatives in three wood treatment plants located in Liuzhou, Beijing, and Yingtan, we conducted tests on "Silky Cream No.5." Workers provided feedback indicating that the cream effectively shields the skin from irritants such as coal tar, anti-corrosion oil, and vapors or dust containing five chlorophenol and sodium pentachlorophenol. According to the workers' personal experience, when the cream was not applied to areas like the steaming tank, oil tank, or oil residue, their face and other exposed parts immediately felt a strong, spicy irritation. However, after applying "Silky Cream No.5," they could enter the tank without experiencing any irritation. Additionally, workers who were handling pentachlorophenol oil or sodium pentachlorophenol solution reported severe itching and tingling when dust landed on their face and neck, sometimes leading to acute dermatitis, such as rose-shaped papules or blisters. But when using the protective cream, they did not experience these issues. Because "Silky Cream No.5" does not hinder sweat gland function, workers found it comfortable to use even during hot summer conditions, and many expressed a preference for it due to its effectiveness and ease of use.
