A recent breakthrough in addressing pollution caused by acidic iron-containing wastewater from the fastener production process has brought hope to an industry long plagued by this issue. The "Comprehensive Utilization Project for Fastener Cleaning Wastewater and Waste Slag," jointly developed by the National Standard Parts Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and Haiyan Haitaike Standard Parts R&D Co., Ltd., has successfully passed expert evaluation. This innovative solution offers a much-needed remedy for an industry long burdened with environmental challenges.
During my visit to the facility, I observed the process in action. The raw material for fasteners is typically a roll of steel, which tends to rust when stored. Traditionally, manufacturers have relied on hydrochloric acid pickling to remove rust, generating significant amounts of iron-rich wastewater. Prior to discharge, lime neutralization is often used, but this approach results in costly production and substantial industrial sludge, creating secondary pollution.
In the new process, small-scale trial production is already underway. In the workshop, I watched as the reddish-brown pickling wastewater flowed through a filtration system using lime milk, entering a closed reaction tank. The resulting water that emerges is clear and odorless, suitable for recycling. Inside the reaction tank, the byproduct known as "iron yellow" remains. This substance can be repurposed as a pigment. For each ton of wastewater processed, approximately 0.006 tons of iron yellow can be produced, with a market price of around $24 per ton, generating a profit of $3.58. Based on the production levels of Haiyan County’s fastener industry, which processes roughly 1.75 million tons of cleaning wastewater annually, and produces about 10,500 tons of sludge after neutralization, if 80% of the wastewater could be treated using this method, it would add $33.6 million in annual revenue to the factories. This not only increases profitability but also alleviates pressure on local sewage networks.
This innovative technology not only solves the problem of pollution but also transforms waste into a valuable resource, offering both economic and environmental benefits. It’s a win-win situation for the industry and the planet.

300W Led Grow Lights Greenhouse
The 300W retractable led grow lights is a lighting device designed for indoor plant growth. It uses high-brightness LED lamp beads to provide sufficient light energy to meet the needs of plants at different growth stages.
The lamp has a telescopic function and can be adjusted according to the height and growth needs of the plant. It is usually equipped with adjustable brackets and suspension chains that can be easily mounted on the top or sides of the plant.
The 300W retractable grow lights have a variety of lighting modes, including blue, red and white light. Blue light is mainly used to promote the leaf growth and photosynthesis of plants, while red light helps to improve the flower bud differentiation and flowering effect of plants. White light can provide full spectrum lighting, making plants look more natural.
In addition, the 300W telescopic IP65 LED Grow Light also has a timing switch and brightness adjustment function, which can be automatically controlled according to the needs of the plant. It also has the advantages of low energy consumption, long life and low heat generation.
In short, the 300W telescopic bar led grow light is an efficient and convenient lighting equipment, which can provide suitable lighting conditions and promote the growth and development of plants. It is widely used in homes, offices, greenhouses and other places to provide a good growing environment for indoor plants.
