Steam vortex flowmeter installation and commissioning

1. The steam vortex flowmeter must be installed on a horizontal steam straight pipe. If the steam pipe is a vertical pipe, a horizontal bypass pipe should be provided. The inlet side of the flowmeter must have a straight pipe section of 10 to 15D (D is the inner diameter of the pipe), and the exit side must have a straight pipe section of 5 to 10D. The inner diameter of the pipe must be the same as the nominal diameter of the flowmeter.
2. When the diameter of the actual steam pipe is inconsistent with the nominal diameter of the steam flow meter, besides ensuring the length of the straight pipe on the front and rear sides of the flowmeter, a trumpet pipe should be installed at the connection between the large and small pipes.
3. The steam flow direction of the steam vortex flowmeter must be in line with the direction of the arrow on the flowmeter body. At the same time, the indicator must be placed under the pipeline during installation. The scale plane of the indicator should be perpendicular to the ground.
4. For moisture-saturated steam with a high moisture content, the flowmeter should be installed downstream of the trap to discharge the liquid phase fluid.
5. A pressure gauge should be installed on the interface of the flowmeter pressure gauge or on the straight pipe section on the inlet side of the flowmeter to adjust the pressure compensation device of the flowmeter according to the pressure value.
6. Adjust the pressure compensation device of the steam vortex flowmeter so that the actual working steam pressure is consistent with the calibration pressure of the flowmeter. When adjusting, open the rear cover of the indicator, loosen the nut, and turn the ruler tube so that the pressure indication index line of the dial and the corresponding pressure indication index line of the ruler are aligned and connected, then the nut is tightened, and then the cover is closed Rear cover.
7. Before the steam flowmeter works, the flooding tank must be filled with damping fluid. Four bolts at the water injection port and drain port on the water injection tank can be turned off, and water can be injected at the water injection port. When the liquid flowing out of the water discharge port is confirmed to be free from yellow rust and dirt, the drainage port bolt is tightened. When the water injection continues to overflow to the injection port and it is confirmed that there is no gas in the injection tank, tighten the injection port bolt. The damping fluid in the water injection tank must be filled, otherwise it will affect the measurement accuracy and damage the internal parts of the flowmeter. Generally, the damper fluid is tap water. When the ambient temperature around the flowmeter is below zero or when it is used intermittently, the fluid must be treated with antifreeze. The antifreeze damping fluid is a 5% glycol solution, and the damping fluid should be discharged when it is stopped.
The steam vortex flowmeter has a measurement accuracy of 1.0. It is used to measure liquid, gas, steam and other low-temperature media and various corrosive media. It is widely used and has broad prospects for development.

Toilet Tank

A toilet tank, also known as a hidden cistern, is a modern plumbing fixture used in bathrooms and toilets. It is designed to hide the flushing mechanism behind a wall or inside a piece of furniture, providing a sleek and minimalist look to the bathroom space.

The main purpose of a concealed flush tank is to save space and create a clean aesthetic by concealing the unsightly plumbing components typically associated with traditional exposed cisterns. By integrating the flush tank within the wall or furniture, only the flush buttons or plates are visible to the user.

Concealed cisterns come in various designs and sizes to accommodate different installation requirements. They are usually made of durable materials such as ABS plastic or stainless steel to ensure longevity and resistance to water damage. The tanks are equipped with a water inlet valve, a flushing mechanism, and an outlet pipe connected to the toilet bowl.

In addition to the aesthetic benefits, installation systems also offer practical advantages. They are typically equipped with dual-flush mechanisms, allowing users to choose between a full flush for solid waste and a partial flush for liquid waste. This dual-flush feature helps in conserving water by reducing the amount used for each flush, contributing to water efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Installation of a concealed cistern requires professional plumbing expertise, as it involves cutting into the wall and connecting the tank to the toilet bowl. However, once properly installed, the maintenance and upkeep of a concealed toilet tank are relatively straightforward.
