New pump: Nide introduced a new hand-valve micro-gear box

Dutch safety valve specialist Netherlocks BV designed a miniature gearbox that can be retrofitted online to reduce handwheel valve torque. It can be retrofitted to the valve without any changes to the valve and can be installed online. As we all know, the valve will wear over time, aging and tight. If it is a manual valve, the operation will be more and more difficult, both dangerous and affect work efficiency. A simple solution to this situation is to add a gearbox to the valve to reduce the torque on the handwheel - but most standard manual or stop valves do not have a gearbox interface. The new Nidec gearbox, made of 316 stainless steel, can be mounted directly to the valve stem without any changes to the valve itself. Based on more than 15 years of experience in mechanical interlocking applications, Nidec has developed a new adapter that can be mounted directly on the firing door without changing any part of the valve for on-line, stand-alone installation. The gearbox has two handwheel mounting interfaces, one for reducing torque through the gear set and the other for maintaining the original torque.
