Intelligent circuit breaker function analysis

Smart circuit breakers are not only universal but also plastic. In addition to three-stage protection and single-phase-to-earth fault protection, its intelligent functions are also reflected in the following nine aspects:

1, the choice of rated current, overload current (including short-circuit short-circuit current, instantaneous short-circuit current) and the choice of action time.

2. The current, voltage, and setting test, fault and operating status and category indication function of each phase.

3. Test function, which is the test of the reliability of the circuit breaker before the circuit breaker is connected to the line. During the test, the set trip trip button is used in the controller. The controller uses an auxiliary power supply (AC220V).

4, fault memory function. After the intelligent trip unit trips the circuit breaker, the status and type of the last fault (overload, short circuit, or ground fault) can still be remembered to help the maintenance of the circuit.

5, thermal memory function. After the intelligent trip unit is overloaded or short-circuited and short-delay tripped, the trip trip unit has a thermal memory function that simulates the characteristics of the bimetal before it is de-energized. The end of the overload energy 30min release, the end of the short delay energy 15min release. After the breaker load is removed, it is closed again. If the overload or short delay occurs again within 30 minutes and within 15 minutes, the trip time will become shorter.

6, MCR (Markingcircuit Release) connected to the broken protection, mainly used in the case of line fault closing (trip breaker connected to the moment of power), the trip has a low multiple current circuit breaker breaking the function. In order to prevent the circuit breaker from being put in when it is less than the setting value (short-circuit current), the cut-off time is too long to cause damage to the circuit breaker. Its set current can be determined according to the user's requirements.

7, self-diagnosis function. When the ambient temperature inside the circuit breaker reaches 80°C or the microprocessor itself fails, an alarm will be issued.
