What are the matters that need attention when installing the steam system pressure relief valve? The analysis is as follows:

1. The piping system must be flushed before installing the steam system pressure relief valve. Anti-welding slag, oxide scale and other helium flow into the valve, affecting the normal operation of the valve.

2. There should be a straight pipe before and after installing the pressure reducing valve. The length of the straight pipe before the valve is about 600 mm, and the length of the straight pipe behind the valve is about 1 mm.

3. When the pressure reducing valve is installed and used, the stop valve of the bypass pipe should be opened to eliminate the mixture of condensed water and soft drinks in the pipeline, so as to prevent the water vapor from being damaged when the pressure reducing valve is opened. After the abnormal phenomenon, slowly turn the adjusting screw clockwise to adjust the outlet pressure to the desired pressure (based on the gauge pressure behind the valve). After adjustment, tighten the lock nut and tighten the protective cover.

4, the general steam system pressure reducing valve requires the import and export pressure difference must be ≥ 0.2Mpa. The pressure reducing valve usually has various specifications such as DN50 to DN100, and the working pressures before and after the valve are respectively <1 MPa and 0.1 to 0.5 MPa, and the error of the pressure regulating range is ±5% to 10%.

5, installed in a place convenient for operation and maintenance, and must be erected on a horizontal pipeline, should pay attention to the flow of the media in the pipeline and the body of the arrow shown in the same direction, do not reverse loading.

6. The filter should be installed before the steam system pressure reducing valve to prevent the impurities in the medium from entering the pressure reducing valve and affecting its performance.
