Customs: China's copper imports increased by 5.8% from January to July and aluminum exports increased by 19.7%

Shanghai, August 11: According to data released by China Customs on Thursday, China’s copper imports from January to July increased by 5.8% year-on-year to 890,910 tons, and exports from January to July increased by 19.7% year-on-year to 889,076 tons. Volume increased by 21.5% year-on-year to 769,476 tons, and copper imports increased by 2.7% year-on-year to 775,501 tons. The Customs Department will release detailed metal import and export trade data later this month.
