   Color Reproduction Problem
Color cameras often struggle with infrared sensitivity. While black-and-white cameras are highly sensitive to infrared light, color cameras typically filter out infrared to maintain accurate color reproduction. However, this can lead to reduced sharpness and color accuracy. Some solutions involve switching filters or using specific infrared channels, but each comes with trade-offs in cost and performance.
   Sensitivity Issues
Camera sensitivity plays a crucial role in infrared night vision. The higher the sensitivity, the better the ability to detect infrared light. However, more sensitive cameras come with a higher price tag. For example, systems within 50 meters usually require 0.1 lux sensitivity, while those over 100 meters may need 0.001 lux. There is no universal standard for how far an infrared system can see, as it varies based on application needs.    1. Poor Waterproofing and Heat Dissipation
Over time, moisture buildup inside the camera can occur, especially in colder regions. This is often due to inadequate sealing and poor heat dissipation. To improve this, manufacturers can design casings with heat-dissipating grooves to extend the camera's lifespan.
  2. Poor Night Vision Performance
Poor night vision is often caused by insufficient infrared illumination or improper angle settings. The effectiveness of infrared light depends on its beam angle and power. A narrower angle provides longer reach, while a wider angle covers a larger area but reduces distance. Choosing the right configuration based on the application is key to achieving optimal results.
   3. Poor Color Reproduction During the Day
Many users notice a color cast in daytime images from infrared cameras. This is often due to the camera’s filter, which allows some infrared light to pass through. Using an IRCUT dual filter can solve this issue by blocking infrared light during the day and allowing it at night, resulting in more accurate color reproduction.
  4. Frequent Switching Between Modes
