According to reports, the national major technical equipment development plan is part of the national key scientific and technological research plan, of which the South-to-North Water Transfer Project complete equipment development project is co-chaired by the Ministry of Water Resources and the Machinery Industry Federation, which is also the first major technical equipment development project undertaken by the water conservancy system.




With the strong support of relevant state ministries and commissions, the water conservancy system and equipment manufacturing industry have cooperated with each other. After three years of careful preparation and repeated argumentation, the project will cooperate with international manufacturers and technology trade for key technologies with weak domestic foundation and short-term unsolvable problems. Combined with the introduction of prototypes, etc.; at the same time give full play to domestic technological advantages, guide enterprises to cooperate with powerful research institutes and universities, enhance technological innovation capabilities, and strive to solve various key technologies. The project has a total of 5 topics, 19 topics (post-adjusted to 22), 49 participating units, and a total investment of 208 million yuan. In the end, 17 sets (sets) of complete sets of equipment were independently developed, 45 new products were obtained, and 22 patents were obtained, including 2 invention patents.




Especially for the major technical equipment required for the construction of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower projects such as the South-to-North Water Transfer Project, the project is designed for large-scale low-lift pumps, large-channel construction, deep-buried long tunnel construction, real-time monitoring and management of water resources, and other large-scale water conservancy projects. He has conducted research in five major areas and has achieved a series of important results:




Research on large-scale low-lift pump hydraulic model device and automatic control system: Combined with the actual needs of the east line project, the computer optimization design software of the vane-type mixed-flow pump was developed, and a new method for predicting the performance of the original unit of the pumping station was proposed. The mixed flow pump (specific speed 500), the vertical axial flow pump (specific speed 600, 850, 900), the cross-flow pump (specific speed 900, 1200) hydraulic model device, basically covers the pump type demand range of the east line pump station, The “South-to-North Water Transfer Project Model Tested by the Ministry of Water Resources” verified that the performance indicators are superior; the on-site monitoring and protection equipment of the pumping station developed in the city has been applied in urban drainage and agricultural irrigation, realizing the management, on-site monitoring and remote dispatching of the pumping station.
