Labor protection supplies unqualified 18 companies in Ningxia were dealt with

Recently, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Work Safety Supervision Bureau has provided management, investment, distribution, training, and use of labor protection products to 18 enterprises in the region including non-coal mines, petrochemicals, construction, metallurgy, and manufacturing and processing that occurred in 2010. The situation was subject to special supervision and inspection.

During inspections, law enforcement officers found that some companies did not establish a labor protection product management system; some companies did not issue or dispense with special labor protection supplies as required; some enterprises issued labor protection products for employees to three products; special The protective equipment of the post does not meet the relevant national standards; some enterprises' safety production training is not in place, employees cannot use it properly or wear protective equipment, and their awareness of self-protection is low.

In response to the problem, the inspectors issued notices of rectification on the site of 10 enterprises, and 8 other illegal and non-compliant enterprises were dealt with by the local safety supervision department according to law. (Zhang Jianbo)
