Machine Installation:
It is recommended to install the coal dust mill on a solid concrete foundation using M12 anchor bolts for stability. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a wooden base if necessary. Once installed, the machine should be level, straight, and firmly secured to ensure safe and efficient operation. Belt Tension Adjustment:
1. Adjusting the Tightness of the V-Belt:
The tension of the V-belt plays a critical role in the machine’s performance. If the belt is too tight, it may cause excessive heat on the motor bearings, leading to premature wear. On the other hand, if it's too loose, the grinding roller may not rotate at the correct speed, resulting in vibration and reduced efficiency. To adjust the tension, loosen the bolts that secure the motor base. Then, use the adjustment bolts to move the motor along the slide until the desired tension is achieved. Once the correct tension is reached, tighten the fixing bolts again. If any V-belts are damaged, they must be replaced as a group. All belts in the set should have the same length and tension to prevent uneven stress and potential failure.
2. Adjusting the Tightness of the Flat Belt:
For flat belts, if the tension is too low, you can remove the belt buckle, cut the belt to the appropriate length, and reattach it with a new buckle. However, if the belt is too tight, it may cause overheating of the bearings. Therefore, it's important to regularly check and adjust the tension to maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the components.
