China's industrial aluminum will face new international markets

Since the 1950s, aluminum production has taken root in China. In the 30 years since the reform and opening up, China's aluminum extrusion industry has been thriving. The product structure has been dominated by construction materials, but with the continuous improvement of China's industrial level and scale, the output of industrial aluminum has also increased year by year. In the industries of automobile manufacturing, rail transportation, electric power, machinery and equipment manufacturing, and home appliances, the demand for aluminum profiles has increased rapidly, and new products, new processes, and new uses of aluminum profiles have appeared continuously, which has promoted technological progress and sustained and healthy development of the industry.

With the sustained, rapid and healthy development of China's national economy, the demand for industrial aluminum materials will increase and the level of equipment and technology will become more and more advanced. It is believed that China's industrial aluminum profile products will have more room for development. Accompanied by the implementation of the Nonferrous Metals Industry Adjustment and Revitalization Plan, high value-added products and technological innovation will become increasingly important. With the continuous integration of the industrial chain, China's aluminum industry will develop more rapidly and with high quality.

As of the end of 2009, there are about 680 aluminum profiles manufacturers in China, and the competition is fierce. All these will lead to the continuous dilution of product profits, especially the profits of building profiles. Since the outbreak of the international financial crisis, the international trade disputes have increased significantly. Trade protectionism represented by some western developed countries has repeatedly used aluminum exports. Therefore, the future of aluminum exports will mainly face emerging markets, where domestic manufacturers' raw material and cost advantages will be reduced. All of these will force domestic aluminum extrusion companies to continuously increase the added value of their products while actively integrating the industry chain.
